Post by: Stooey on November 02, 2014, 10:38:52 am
A couple of my mater are running around in focus st's and rs's and there exhausts pop a wee bit and I think it can sound quite good sometimes, just wordering if there is anyway to make the golf pop the same?

Mine pops when I gently Rev it at cold idle.

A decent de-cat exhaust may get a few pops, but these TFSIs don't seem to want to do it like the STs, Mini Cooper S etc

Sweet,

I had the soft cut on my 1.8T.

Niki told me that he wouldnt load the hard cut on my 1.8T as I didnt have rods. is this the same case for the TFSI engines?

Ah yes how silly of me haha my car is currently mapped by rtech and cannot fault their work in any way I forgot that they do the launch on the golfs as of my leon has complete different coding in the ecu and isn't avaliable yet
