Anyone else having severe brake squeal from the DS2500 pads. I've already stripped my brakes down 3 times to re-grease them and it lasts about 3 weeks then the horrible noise returns again. Anyone any ideas????

Its a fast road track pad they can be noisey
-
Yeah I understand that but this is ridiculous . They didn't come with the usual anti-sqeal metal slider inserts you usually get with pads these days and was wondering if they were meant to !
-
Ive not run them on my mk5 but previous cars i dont think they did.. Theyve always been noisey on my cars with aps but on ny mates evo with ap calipers there horendous

I'm running M1144's and they squeal abit coming to a stop but wouldn't say they are horrendous. I'm actually quite fond of the little squeak haha.

These high performance pads do need the occasional any high speed braking regime to keep them squeal free for town driving.
-
get similar squeal when coming to a stop. not major loud but can be annoying.

x2
squeal when coming to a stop. definitely more prominent now Im commuting more and not getting a chance to exercise the car as much.

I run ds2500's at the minute with plain discs a get a bit of squeal from time to time , thing is I've ran ds2500's on countless hot hatches over the years both with plain and grooved discs and never had any squeal before
