Title: Mud Flaps.
Post by: Dave7692 on November 05, 2014, 09:40:21 am
Hi All,

Unfortunately due to living in one of the muckier parts of the world I think I might have to invest in some mud flaps for my golf for the winter.  Only thing is I have installed GTI side skirts on TDI and an R32 rear.  Can I still get mud flaps that will fit around these mods or are they only made for the standard golfs.

Also are they fairly easy to install/remove, I'll probably only keep them on for the winter because at the moment my car is getting completely plastered every day when I drive to work and I'm hoping I might be able to reduce it a bit.

Thanks in advance.

You can get mudflaps for the front as these would be the same as the gti ones but I have never seen any for the r32 rear

Thats what I thought, I did a bit of digging and couldn't find any for the rear.  I looked on Ebay and theres loads for non-GTI cars but GTI ones are at least £60  :scared:

Yes you'll need GTI fronts, the rears won't fit but I've heard of people getting them to fit with a little help from a heatgun to help them take the shape  :happy2:
