Title: New brake switch not working

Fitted a new brake switch today and now the brake lights don't come on at all? The old one still works but the new one fits perfectly and still doesn't work, am I doing something stupid or is it a dud part? Cheers

Take the swtich off the brake pedal, connect the wiring and operate the plunger manually, see if that works :)
