Can he update my cluster or do I need a new one something to with eeprom hex coding I've read but not sure :wink:

I just put a January 2010 cluster in my Tiguan and staging is not possible on that, 2011 onwards clocks i think

I took a more modern cluster off him to solve a few other features I wanted to work so I can read texts on the go etc.

He made a video - he might post it up if he reads the this?

If I remember correctly this was a 2010 cluster with the White display!

I have 5N0 920 971 E fitted and rumour has with a little tweaking in eeprom staging and cc display is possible just trying to track some who has the know :happy2:

I fitted 971E clocks today, coded by Eddie, and staging cannot be done. You will need later Tig clocks

Seeing as this is a mk5 GTI forum, OP are you talking about doing this on your Tiguan clocks?
I fitted literally the exact same clocks today as what part number was just posted up to my Tiguan and Ed could not get needle sweep on them.

Your best bet on here is him or Kalu for hex adjustment.

Look on EBay - GTI cluster MKVI he's got items on there plus you'll get his info for contacting him there
