Bit about me....From Leeds, 20 years old currently at uni part time doing construction management and working as an assistant site manager.

Will add more pics when i get time, going to give it a good clean this weekend took it out the other day for the first time in a couple of weeks and i got caught out in the rain i wasn't happy lol.

How do your Bentlys fit for use as I have a set of these lined up for ours but heard the fronts do not fit well and have clearance issues?

The bentleys fit ok...i have a 225 tyre on them, they would probs be a lot better clearance wise with a 215 tyre but i think thats pushing it a bit on the safety side lol.

The rears fit nice in the arch but when i have any more than 2 people in, the arch just sits on the tyre but i never really have anyone in the back anyway.

The fronts need some camber and they rub when cornering hard but the KW top mounts im getting should sort this im hoping and im gonna get the arches rolled too.

When i drive steady and avoid the sh*tloads of pot holes they are fine!!

Whereabouts in Leeds are you from mate?

Hmm, Would you need camber plates if you had a smaller tyre size?

I was thinking of using 215/35/19 for maximum clearances and so you know, they are a perfectly safe tyre size for thissize of wheel :smiley:

Dub preservation is a good meet to go to. I'll post up when the next one is when I find out :happy2:

Post by: Top Cat on November 17, 2009, 12:36:42 am: Ben, you are going down the exact same route as me with the suspension. The reason why i sold you the V2s was because you cant fit the KW top mounts to them. The spring is a lot fatter on the V2 :sad1:

KW, VWR and pretty much all the other tuners i asked all said you cant even put them on V3's even though they do fit. Lots of reports of problems across Europe i believe.

Thats how i ended up with the clubsports. You can however buy other companies ones like White-line who sell them to fit most set-ups i think. :happy2:

I used to live in Kippax, then Swillington, then Garforth, then Sherburn, so all pretty close to you. I now live in Lincoln though.

The buckets are very comfy i prefer them a lot more to my edition 30 seats, they 'hug' you more when cornering and you feel a lot more stable in them!

I liked it on the Bentley's aswell mate but could only drive very slow and careful with them on...and that isnt what i bought the car for lol ....they went today some lad came over from Germany to collect them!!

As you can see from the previous pics i had Ash's Recaro's in for a few months after a deal was done on my edition 30 interior, these now live in his MK6, and I have a nice trimmed interior thanks to Chris - x5pea.

Post by: BenR on May 13, 2010, 01:37:27 pm: Thanks mate, when the number plate was on the honeycomb grill i drilled the numberplate and just tie wrapped it on, wasnt the best solution as it took chunks out of the grill lol....its now stuck on the front mask with some velcro, i moved it from the honeycomb as the cooler is behind there so didnt want to restrict any airflow after i had it mapped!

Then decided to get rid of the MTM's as I wasn't too keen on how they looked.

Now I have just returned back from a trip again down to Ash's but it involved a trip to G-Werks for a set of newly imported Rotiforms! Went for the BLQ in a 8.5x19 ET35 Rear ET45 Front

I really like the Rotiforms they sit really well on the car think we need to go lower at the back though!

Cheers mate, I really liked the MTM wheels too, but unfortunately JPC forgot to mention in his for sale ad that 3 of 4 are buckled - he may not have known but the moment we got them on the car we could tell with the wheel wobble etc so had to get rid.

Twintake should be here by the weekend also so will hopefully have another update soon!
