HI,
been reading up on cam chain problems , my car does NOT sound like a tractor and there is no tin or abnormal rattle noises on normal tick over , however if I rev the car and let the revs come down , once the revs are back to normal a noise is herd for a second or two afterwards , is this normal for the cam chain/Injectors ? Doesn't happen if the car is just sitting ticking over on its own , you have to rev it and wait for the revs to come back down to tick over were a chain noise is herd for a second afterwards then goes away again..
EDIT , went out and listened to it again , could it possible be injectors that make this noise for a second after revving?.
Hopefully someone in the know can put my mind at ease.

PS there is no knocking noise etc at when engine at temperature , just when you rev and revs come down you can hear a chain type noise for a second then goes away again , hopefully normal??

This is worth a read

I think it sounds more like an injector sound, its not herd on tick over, only after you rev and revs come down to normal for a second??
