 :happy2: agreed

iv been looking at the 345mm? r32 items or the 312mm for mine as they fit straight on apparently so would be good to compare with the RSs price wise. i think for the 32s your looking at about 500large for calipers, carriers, lines and discs

keep you eye on ebay pal, there was a full S3 front set-up on there last week that Joe was tracking, think they went for about 250 quid, these are the same as the R32 items and a massive improvement on the GTi set-up :happy2:

250! i'll definetely be on the look out now you've said that a few sleepless nights ahead... damn you  :signLOL:

your running an oil burner aren't you JPC? how long did it take you to shift the 32 stoppers onto yours???
Title: Re: owwwright
Post by: JPC on December 15, 2008, 09:30:39 am
erm...about £80 quid! haha!

i got them powdercoated from blue to red and the bodywork shop who did have a time served mech there so they fitted them too! its really easy anyways....like laughably easy as long as you can bleed brakes

These are good brakes, shame they are so expensive.

I'm doing some replacments for the Audi guys at the moment. The replacments discs are in the region of £700-1000 a pair!!!! They crack around the holes really very easily to.

Iswed i think you need to explain yourself a bit better. Are you saying that you will be selling replacement discs at 700-1000 quid that crack really easy.   :chicken:

HAHAHAH

Yea I bend you over and give a you a pork sword to lol.

Thats was hands not know what brain was thinking. i.e RETARD.

The stock discs crack very easily around the holes and the replacment discs are around 1k from Audi. I am making an alternative for the people who allready have this setup on the S4/RS4.

That makes sense......................................

looks like the .:R brakes are cheaper option... by a long way
Not even the thought of some fat RS branded calipers can compete with 80quid for some 32 items although saying that you could get the clip on S3 bit if you went with the r32/cupra/S3 brakes

Do these change the offset in any way, or require spacers??

Not for my use I'm afraid JPC, it'd ruin the arches. I can't have spacers/changed offset.

LOL - like an ET66 to compensate for a 15mm spacer!... I like the thinking though.

Now, a 3mm spacer is more than acceptable.. I presume 5mm is the smallest you can get?

So, the kit you can get will have everything required to fit? (bar the spacers) I'm super interested now!

Hi,

Santa has come up trumps with some 6-pot APs as requested, so I'm going to pass on the RS4s. I simply couldn't turn them down for the money, but for anyone else looking into this... I'd snap this offer right up now, before the Euro rates shat it all up.

Thanks,

Mike.
