Title: wd6050 help

hi guys i have one of these and its great but i cant get the nav loaded/working and cant get the vw multichanger working with it any ideas ?

this is the problem with the nav

also the radio reception is not 100% all the time any ideas on this ?

a friend popped over and ran threw it with me . getting hacked off tho as i have emailed joe about the bits im missing and heard nothing

hmm that's weird cos Joe has been very good with me - when mine arrived I had no double fakra (WHICH I HAD ORDERED) I let him know this and a few days later I chased him on it again and it turned out he was struggling to get any info from factory however they did send it via DHL - in fact they sent two LOL!

Anyway for me he has been great always answered my questions within a day. He might be on holiday or something? What are you missing mate, oh and did you get the multi changer working if so how?

problems i have are

poor radio reception
vw changer not working
tv parts i odered did not come with it
rear ipod lead did not come with it
front ipod lead is damaged
cds are playing in the dvd

vw changer not working - not sure if it is meant to work with the unit

rear ipod lead did not come with it - what rear ipod lead? teh ipod only works from the front (do you mean the USB cable from rear?)
front ipod lead is damaged - :(
cds are playing in the dvd - what do you mean? DVD will play and also CD's will too?

hmmm I read about the ipod at rear but its something (composite AV cable or something) that needs to bought from Maplins or similar

The only lead for the rear you get is the USB lead ie: for adding the composite AV cable too (as mentioned above) or adding a hard drive/usb flash drive too.

I'll give you some good news.. I was sent two FAKRA cables by mistake from the factory (they didn't send first time) It's yours if you want it - just chuck me a few quid to cover postage etc and I'll post it out to you :happy2:

PM me if interested - They retail for about £15-20 or so

cheers for that . i didnt get a usb lead either :(
