Just been offered a '55' plate gti with 140k miles on the clock for 3500...it has full service history. It is due a cam belt change...

Or a '55' gt tdi 170 on a similar milage for 3100.

Just wondering what the life expectancy of a well looked after gti? and whats the best options regarding speed etc.

Gti is the fastest out of your options but also the fastest at using fuel haha, these cars last forever look at how many mk1s and mk2s are around as long as you maintain it, it will always be by your side  :happy2:
