Post by: Dalejones on November 13, 2014, 11:42:41 am
How do I turn off the seat belt warning alarm? Does my head in, and please don't reply 'put ur seatbelt on!' Anyone know if it's on a fuse? Thanks

It can be coded out in 17-instruments with VCDS

If you don't have VCDS but do have an android phone and an OBD adapter you can download the carista app which allows you to turn off the alarm along with a load of other features.

You can unplug it under the seat. Which plug is anybodys guess - you could play 007 and set a timer to count down while you sweat over which plug to pull before it reaches zero.

Its the small plug under the seat with 2 cables on it. Dont pull the yellow one as that's your airbag.
