Morning guys,
I've developed a hole in my exhaust (standard system), I'm sure it can be welded but, just need confirmation of my local exhaust place.
In the meantime its been running not quite right, boost seems off. since this is my first turbo'd car I assume the performance issues are directly related to the hole in my exhaust?
forgive my naivety! any input would be great!

It depends on where to leak is in the system. I believe that the last sensor in the exhaust system is after the cat. If it's leaking before that, that could explain the down on power.
I would also be cautious about getting hard on the power, as the engine might over adjust it's fuel/air depending on where/how it's leaking. so you could then through a fault code or run rich/lean. Which on a turbo car can be deadly, in the long term.

Thanks for this, its sounding a bit louder than normal so I could only say its closer to the backbox. smelling a little richer in fuel too.
I don't get the opportunity to open 90% of the time!
