I see alot of talk of people at different stages of remap but cant find any definitive info on what is required for each stage. Anybody know what is neded for each stage? I just have a base gti with k03 turbo, a carbonio with pipercross panel filter with 3" tbe with sports cat, what stage could mine be mapped to?

You'd be about 1.5 ish. At R-Tech without a cooler or CAI it'd prop be 1 not 1.5.

Ahh i aslo have a ebay twintercooler, so what else would i need to get it to stage 2. Also what sort of bhp should i expect from a map as the car stands at the moment?
-
Around 260bhp would be my guess.
All depends how well your hardware flows air in & out :happy2:
The limits are always the hardware, not the tuning
If you go for a HPFP upgrade you would get even more

What does your zorst sound like? Getting mine done in 3" in the new year, turbo back with sports cat, want it to sound nice but not too loud, don't know wether to go for 2 silencers or just 1 at the rear...

^^^^ Look into BCS's Powervalve system, best of both worlds. Comes with two boxes but the back one gets bipassed when the valve opens up on WOT.

That sounds clever, however, I already have the front pipe and sports cat fitted from pipe werx and I'm booked in to have the rest done in January, just haven't decided on the silencers, I suppose even with two it would still sound nice being it 3" all the way through from the turbo, u reckon?...

^^^^ Will sound the business. I'd get 2 boxes and at worst if you think it's too quiet it's no biggy to just get a 3" pipe it the right fitment from the manufacturer and swap out the central one.

Yes! I thought the same thing :happy2:

Hi sorry for the late reply, mine sounds nice but hardly any louder than standard and I mean hardly! I do have a straight through centre section for it which I might try out in the new year

If you lose the middle box let me know what it sounds like then buddy... :happy2:

Hi mate
I took my 320d in to ask about it, 60000 miles on the clock and the guy said the turbo could be dodgy if I went for a remap. The fact he
