Guys,
My old PS3 died a while back and I bought a slim one with the smallest HD. When I put Gran Turismo 6 in to play it forces me to start an update which is a heffa at about 1.5GB (the PlayStation has been updated this week).
It then errors shortly after starting saying I've not enough HDD space.
I've tried with both a 32GB sandisk memory stick and a terrabyte USB ext drive neither of which seem to point the update there.
Because I've got the tiny HDD one, am I facked on playing games that demand updates of this size? :fighting: :fighting: :scared:
Thanks :happy2:

My superslim only has a 12gb. I only bought it originally for 3d blurays. I had the same issue. I keep meaning to swap the hdd for a ssd but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Don't really play consoles any more

Play it offline (no update) or upgrade the HDD

Bloody hell, easy as that.
An upgraded 160gb Sata drive from eBay should knock it on the head, I've seen how to remove the drive :happy2:
Cheers :drinking:

I bought the super slim ps3 when my fat one busted. Easily upgraded the hard drive. I think you have to buy a caddy or something as well. I upgraded to 160gb
