Hi all, wondered if theres any way to change the dial colour on the standard GT170 without changing the cluster as I like having a built in boost gauge, not sure if anyone can do anything with programming?
Any advice would be most welcome :)

Hi,
The only way you can change the cluster backlighting would be to remove the cluster and solder new led's in the colour of your choice onto the PCBs.. not a job I would fancy!

Built in boost gauge?

Ah. You learn something everyday. I assumed by GT170 they meant the diesel 170

Thank you everyone forf your responses... Best leave it I think!

All 1.4 TSI 170s have the boost gauge instead of Temperature gauge fitted to midline and highline clocks.
And I have experience of changing LEDs if you see my MK6 build thread ;)
