Evening all
Just taken delivery of a 2007 Mk5 GT TDi 170 with DSG box... it's a sensible(ish) replacement for a Freelander 2 i6 HSE which returned a hugely depressing 16 MPG. £500 annual tax... no thanks.
I'm hoping to upgrade the stock RCD 300 head unit for something with Sat Nav and Bluetooth - I'd like to stick with OEM but keep seeing the phrases "battery drain" and "gateway modules" mentioned... need to do a bit more reading.
Other than that, the vast expanse of grey plastic at the back of the car will have to be coloured in at some point.
Anyway... hiya.
Adam.

So an RNS-510 on Revision H wouldn't be fussy about the gateway? This is good news, cheers Kieran.
I'm in Saddleworth Dave... just outside Oldham.
Pics to follow :happy2:
