so talking to someone they've said a cold air induction kit should be added to my mk5 golf 2l tdi once i get the turbocharger installed.
this doesnt sound right to me. wanted to get your oppinions on this as i may be wrong.
also, how does this exhaust look to people?

if no good can someone suggest a good after market exhaust for me?

So you have a TDI, and your getting a bigger turbo?
TDI's usually manage fine with just the stock airbox, an intake just makes noise on the overrun.
With a TDI, you won't get huge gains from an exhaust nor an amazing sound so don't spend a fortune, just get a cheap cat back :happy2:

I'd just get a straight pipe for the exhaust, it still won't be very loud...
-
pretty much yeah, with the bigger turbo.
not really sure what im looking for with a cat back to be honest.
not fussed over the noise on the exhaust.
would a cold air intake not cause damage to the turbo? thats what i was generally wondering.
-
No it wouldn't damage the turbo

fair enough, i'll message my mate n concede haha
