Title: GTI Back Box on GT sport 2.0d (140)

I have obtained a genuine second hand GTI Back Box which I want to fit on my (140) 2.0 Diesel. I understand that this can be done with some minor modifications. Does anyone know exactly what is involved?? (I already have the GTI valance)

Post by: DamoP on December 03, 2014, 05:35:43 pm: do a search using the "search" tab, there was a thread on this a while ago. very simple. get you local exhaust place to just cut yours off and cut the GTI one in the same place. they put a collar and done.

did this to my old mk5 GT and it made it look a load better

recommend colour coding as well, make a massive difference

That be great if you could dig them out. Did you have the standard wheels on the car at the time?

Get the lower splitter from the GTI. Much better than the one from the GT 170. :wink:
