Title: Wobble bolts
Post by: MKV_Sean on December 03, 2014, 09:30:25 pm
Hey chaps,

Looking to buy a set of Rota alloys for my MKV Gti. The alloys are 5x114.3 and I've heard you can use wobble bolts to secure them. Is anyone running this set up? Are they safe to use? Also can extended wobble bolts be bought cause I run 20mm spacers on the back and want to still use em.

Also if the wheels are ET45 would that clear S3 front brakes?

Any help would be much appreciated fellas

iv got 2 sets of rota wheels and use wobble bolts, never had any issues with them

what wheels are they? chances are they will clear your brakes as i have the same but design is a big part of the clearance  :happy2:

You'll be fine on brake clearance. You can get 17 inch stock wheels over s3 brakes they are not that big.

They are Rota P1 alloys, do you have any pics of your Rota wheels on your car?
