Title: R32 price
Post by: Markweir12 on December 05, 2014, 08:15:40 am
Hi,

Just a quick ask on how much I should look at paying for an R32.

completely bog standard, 2 previous mature owners, 52k on clock, winter pack, FSH.

Obviously need to tread carefully around the haldex and DSG systems.

Its advertised in a dealer for 8,900

Many thanks

It's about the right figure but £8.5k would be better. Saying that from a stealer it's not a bad price considering the low mileage & owners.
I've seen a few at less than 7k but they've all been dogs or high miles. If you can chip the dealer down a bit (which at this time of the year should be do-able) it will be a reasonable price. What plate & colour is it?

To give you an idea, the screen price on the R32 I purchased in March was 13k..

That was for a 2009/58 plate, 5 door, 46k miles with leather Recaros, soundpack & CD changer  :happy2:

Its not main dealer, meant to say normal vehicle sales.

Its 2006 in the grey sort of colour.

Looks tidy enough anyway

Look at the 32 tonight, mainly cosmetics need doing.

Only main issue is the drivers seatbelt warning goes off intermittent when you are strapped in .. Any ideas?

Was there anything on the passenger seat that may set it off? If I have anything with a bit of weight on passenger seat, the car thinks someone is sat there and as the seat belt isn't plugged in sets off the warning.
Failing that, may a worn or dirty contact in the seat belt buckle on drivers side?
It can be coded out though in vcds.

Up here in Aberdeen the main dealers are cheaper than independents for some odd reason.
