They look like their out of a leon?
Owner prob sold the originals on lol
-
Or it's a stolen recovered and had the seats nicked/slashed/pissed on?
-
Maybe they had wing backs or something special and sold them separately.
-
Are the rears wrong too? If so like above, previous owner may have taken them out and sold on

Funny i noticed this a few weeks ago while looking to buy my Ed i wasn't sure why the garage hadn't try to either purchase a used set to Ed seats (some on ebay now actually!) or get a set of Mk5 Gti seats at least!
Not like they are asking for less sue to the seats being wrong unless they aren't aware?

They're the seats out of a MK2 Leon. He's changed the rears too (checked the other pics in the advert lol) but it's beyond me why someone wouldn't bother to go to the effort of at least using Golf seats especially on an edition 30.

ok cheers for clearing that up. i've spoke to the seller, he was'nt aware untill after he had done the part ex onit, its a shame really. i thought maybe it had been in a crash and the airbags had gone off in the seats (if they have them in the seats) but never mind, i'll keep on looking

If the rest of the car is good, could knock him down and buy a set of seats?

i thought that, but i wonder what else might be wrong with it, and whats been done. if the previous owner has taken them out knowing he was going to pretty much scam the garage then i cant see that he will of looked after the car to a very good standard, i dont want a car that has been owned by someone like that.

That's a fair point, you'll always be wondering what other little problems you might uncover further down the line. When you buy a car like that you want to know someone has loved it.

To be fair though he could of swapped them because the edition 30 seats in my eyes are one of the most uncomfortable seats ive ever sat in.
So if he liked the car that much and didnt want to sell it changing the seats might off been a option for him.
