Was on my way to work this morning, driving along the motorway then my alarm started going off, went on for about 30secs & stopped, then about 15sec later it started again?
I stopped the car, switch it off & on again, never came back on but that time I was close to work (only around 8miles to work)
Home now & never done it on the way home!
Anyone had this before or any ideas what could have caused this?
Thanks Michelle.

A friend had it on his mk4 gti. Happened due to water ingress, wires corroded and started faulting. Eventually the doors and windows all started opening to their own accord.
Hopefully it's a once off but keep your eyes on it. Probably first thing to do is a visual inspection of the entire bay for vermin followed by a VCDS scan.
His sunroof opened one night in really bad rain and the car got flooded!

Ohhh this doesn't sound fun! Glad I've not got a sunroof :signLOL:
Will keep an eye on it, thanks!

You need a VCDS scan. Measuring blocks in 46, it will indicate the reason for the last four activations.
I bet it will be a faulty siren, they cause crazy behaviours when their integrated battery is dying
