Hi
I have seen (white) LED number plate replacement bulbs on eBay, I have had them on other cars and have had no issues and they looked good :happy2:
my question is... is it as simple just changing the bulbs on golfs and do they look good?
Also do they tend to have any issues?
Thanks

Yep just a simple bulb swap. Make sure you get canbus ones or they wont work. They do look good if you get decent ones, some of them look bluey.

I have these in mine

just the LED bulbs on there own are ok, if you buy the ones built into th housings they are much brighter.
I've got some for sale and to see the brightness look at my members ride

Get the OEM ones - they are worth the money as the eBay ones fail and look way too bright IMO.
They are a straight swap (at least mine were) and no errors. for example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271497461648
Part number is 1K8943021 - I paid 15 quid for mine from Holland.

Hello would these fit the mk5 gold gti edition 30 as on the fitting guide it doesent show it for that car also are they canbus ?

I have a set from @DamoP (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2936) fitted to mine and can't recommend them enough, great kit and much better than just replacing the bulbs :happy2:
