Post by: mrggg on December 18, 2014, 02:56:52 am
How do I do this? Do I use APC and then autosol polish?

Bit of APC or Glass cleaner and a microfibre.

Yeap, APC (can use a stronger dilution if they are really dirty) and a detailing brush (I find a stiffer bristled one works best on the pedals) does the job nicely! To finish wipe off the brushed area with a microfiber.

I use chemical guys all clean diluted 10:1 and wipe off.

A lot of people still use dash wipes on the pedals because they're the go to cleaner. Most wipes have silicon to give the dash a clean look but it's also very slippy! Not something you want on a brake pedal!

I'd have thought Autosol would be a nightmare to remove from the rubber bits. As above, I use APC 1:10 for the entire plastics/"leather"/dash/pedals etc
