Title: RCD300 issue help
Post by: JaseGti on December 21, 2014, 01:33:14 pm
Been on holiday for 2 weeks jumped in the car and it didn't turn checked the fuse F19 in the engine bay but that's fine
Any idea what else I could check?

I have thought about disconnecting the battery would that help in anyway??

Any input would really be appreciated......driving without a radio is a real killer for me

What about the fuse on the rear of the stereo?

When I get time I'll pull it out and check the fuse behind it.

It's just weird how it's not been used for 2 weeks then when I get back it doesn't work....

If that doesn't work I'll probably just upgrade it, I did want to do it anyway but not just before Xmas eek

Red lights seems to come up around the head unit but no screen does that mean broken or fuse at the back of it is knacked?

An update checked fuse at back of unit on Xmas eve all was fine.
Didn't use car Xmas day or boxing day jumped into car today battery flat...........
I've now taken F19 (fuse) out just incase that's draining my battery
