I'm thinking of upgrading the RCD300 in my car. I'd like a RNS510 with streaming Bluetooth ideally, but they're poor value for money.
I've looked at the Xtrons 8" PF81MTV and 9401CU 8" Android double DIN head units.

Both are CAN bus compatible, but I'm not sure to what degree. They both show use with MFSW controls and show ventilation settings etc.
Both radios have RDS, the Xtrons has dual FM tuners with diversity. Neither have TMS.
The 9401CU runs on Android 4.2.2 and the Xtrons appears to run on WIN CE 6.
Both have 8" touchscreens, bluetooth streaming, GPS navigation, plays MP3s, DVDs, have micro SD slots for maps and music, inputs for cameras and ipod connectivity. The Android one is likely to be more flexible as you'll be able to install standard apps on it.
The Xtrons is available for £200, the 9401CU about £270.
I'm after opinions from people who have used / installed these.

I think I would be tempted by these, if I was looking

I wouldn't recommend the xtrons one, I had one and never seemed to be able to get good radio reception, it was always crackly even though it was connected up how it should be. Also I bought it direct of xtrons on ebay from china and got screwed for import tax so be careful!

Hi Rob,
Was it the same model? One of its usp is supposed to be good radio reception, with dual diversity tuners.
Thanks
