Title: Gearbox backlight!!!

Hey !
I have something strange going in my golf mk5 :surprised: :surprised: .
Today when i turn off all the car and the lights /backlights,i surprisingly saw that the gearbox backlights
still works but not a string light like when its turn on, what can be the problem of it!?

Do you mean your reversing light?

You mean on the gear selector, to light up "D" etc? Pretty sure that's normal, so that you can see which gear it's in at a glance in low light without your lights on. Bit belt-and-braces but there you go!
