Basically i'm looking at buying the Neuspeed P-flo kit, but i don't really fancy spending £300 on a engine cover to fit with it? does anyone have any other recommendations? i know the TTS cover will fit, but it needs some modification.

Anyone?

Standard GTI engine cover fits but also needs modifying, that's what I did

Audi TTS engine cover, do a search on the forum for part number and the bits you need. No modifying of original parts needed.

over £100 for it though

Yeap, get a TTS cover. All part numbers required and pics on page 1 in my build thread.

Thanks, is it just a straight swap then? Just need to replace the bolts?
-
Straight swap. Yes there are 3 bolts that need fitting, part numbers for these are in my thread (it's page 1, ive checked).
Audi, TPS or Alex at AKSTuning can supply these things. As mentioned they are around £100 so not too bad when compared to the alternatives.

Plus it looks very OEM and clean.
