Title: Newbie canbus question.

Hi,
Just bought a 57 plate Gt tdi dsg, it has the highline clocks, mfsw and paddle shift.

The standard stereo is shocking and with it being my second car, wanted to fit a rcd310 so i can fit o bluetooth and iPod connection.   

My question is, am i going to have battery drain issues with my canbus, or is there a way to check?

You will need to check with vcds. you wanyt one newer than a K version. I just changed mine today on my dsg. So much easier to do then a manual!

Can this be accessed via the scuttle panel instead of under the dash?
