Title: How to use BG44k?
Post by: Tortaruga on December 24, 2014, 04:29:44 pm
I've just received a can of this however the directions only say that it treats 'up to 75 litres', which isn't particularly helpful.

Any advice much appreciated.

put it in a full tank drive until down to a quarter of a tank then refill again. Used this stuff to rescue the injectors on a Mondeo St Tdci

I put it in on 3/4 of a tank & ran the tank down to the fuel light then stuck £30 of V-power on top.

Drive it gently through the first tank (with the BG44k in) as it's more effective if it spends more time on the injectors

Thanks folks. I might leave it for a while as I've just done an oil change and have been reading of a possible reduction in oil 'effectiveness' after using this stuff. Some people advising an oil change after using the product. It's fairly potent by all accounts.
