Title: Rust under rear lights

Following a great birthday present from the fella yesterday (some R32 rear lights) we fitted them and I found loads of rust under the light fitting. I was wondering if anyone else had had this problem and if VW repaired it under the corrosion warranty?

Not seen rust there before, you might get 50% contribution from VW under warranty claim so worth a try

I've emailed vw as had my wings done recently so will wait and see what they say
