Title: Black ED30 5-door aka The Brighton Bullet!
Post by: ryangerry on December 28, 2014, 02:38:34 pm: Added a few more mods today, led puddle lights, gloss black badge, US side lights enabled and black Lego dust caps. All that's left is a full detail and some 12mm spacers.

Are they genuine exonons or are they the depo lookalikes?
I'm getting tempted to buy a pair of depo lookalikes as my current headlights aren't in the best condition and it's really starting to bug me :signLOL:

Badge arrived today another simple 5 minute mod. All that's left now is the some 12mm spacers front and rear and the paper work to come back for my private reg

^^ +1 on this. I had the same issue with my boot badge. The replacement that was supposed to stick on top of existing one didn't. I tried taking off the white worm infected silver one and it seems I have the old single piece boot badge which is stuck with double sided foam glue. Now I am on the hunt for a badge that I can replace. I don't want to take off (or replace) the entire mechanism.

Just be aware though on the rear are a few little place pieces that stick out I pulled them off and then it literally clipped straight on. It looks pretty secure I'm sure if you wanted to you could use a little bit self adhesive tape or similar to make it 100% secure

I hope you don't regret it fella.. Yours will be a very hard act to follow. It's already a brilliant allrounder.
Some people realise after its gone, that perhaps maybe the decision apart for financial reasons was wrong to sell up.

Plus next year I'm posted to Germany so wI'll be getting a tax free motor. Gutted but I know it has l go.

Post by: ryangerry on February 21, 2015, 05:39:30 pm: Went a little OTT today with cleaning, decided to jack up the car remove the wheels and also the arch liners as well. Glad I did wow talk about stinking, never seen so much mud and sh*t. I totally recommend doing this if you have a few hours.
