Title: noise when engine running

wonder if any one has any advise, when the engine is running there is a ticking/clicking noise coming from under the bonet, its not that loud that you can hear it in the car it can only be heard from outside. there is no faults coming up has any one got any ideas cheers guys

Pretty sure it's normal, I'll listen to my own engine tomorrow. Perhaps a video of it would help out... :happy2:

But, the N80 canister purge valve also creates this sound even louder when it goes.

Best advice for modern engines, is to listen to them and if any of the noises chance, then be worried. Not like buying an old car where all noises cause concern. :happy2:

Fuel pump is known for making noise like that..
