Title: locking wheel nut key! how many supplied from new?

Evening all!

Bit of a simple one really, how mant locking wheel nut keys were supplied with mk5 gti's from new?

Had brake pad level warning the day before i went on holiday so ordered new pads and went to fit today.... only it was rears i needed!

Went to ECP to pick some up & now cant find my key in the garage (too dark)

Did they only supply one in the spare wheel well from new? I hope tgere is a second lurking somwhere!

Only one with each car :happy2:

You can order a replacement though

Was hoping to get it tied off tomorrow, had to replace the coil pack on the & change the cat/lambda on the 182 before i could get the golf into the garage, so now something as quick as rear brake pads could take me 2 days and £55+locking wheel nut key.

Where is the 're-order' code stored ? See if I can get one on ebay something....

You won't get a replacement key on eBay you will have to get it from the dealer.

Not sure where the code is try the owners manual wallet

I think i have found one, just want to confirm the code so i can collect it tomorrow.
