Are there any decent led bulbs available for fog lights ?
-
Guess you mean fronts? If so have you got projector or reflectors fogs?
(Ps just replied to pm  )
-
Yeah fronts , not sure its an 05 gt so just normal reflector i would think
-
I would be interested in recommendations for upgrade fog bulbs.
Are the reflector types H11?

^^^^ LEG END!!
So, I get these and the "2014 New 72w 6400lm H8/H9/H11 Cree LED Headlight Conversion Kit" that you posted in the other thread and along with my new projectors im good to go!
Have you attached the box (in the conversion kit) by any means to the inside of the front bumper, looks heavy?
-
:ashamed: There's a legend amount this post, but that's yourself Martin :innocent:
Yeah you got it, purchase the LED bulbs and the conversion harnesses (maybe cheaper elsewhere just got the link quckly) and your good to go.
The little boxes in the kit arnt heavy, would guess around 50g each. I only did a quick install at the weekend as thought I was just testing fitment as thought I would need resistor, but didn't so I just used the trusted cable tie to the horn bracket on either side, but there a bit of cable so with a but more time / effort could be located somewhere tidier

Quick mock of converters
Red = grey converter box in bulb kit
White = cable ties

Main reason I'm looking to move mine is I have open fog grills and they are noticeable if you know and look in the right place
-
^^^^ Truly excellent stuff, awesome! :notworthy:
Yeap, Id need to move mine i guess as I have an additional air intake feed (via ducting) from the fog grill to my CAI. I like the idea of the "possible" location.
:drinking:

A pleasure to assist you and the mistress :notworthy:

I would try to mount them where they wont get wet, and angle so water wouldn't run into connectors etc, learnt that when my old mk4 HID ballast corroded.
