Can some confirm for me.......if I replace the rear handles on mk5 for you have to remove all th door cards as well? Or are he just screw off?

You don't need to remove the door card, the handle can wiggle free after doing the following. For various reasons I've removed mine 5 or 6 times.
Just make sure you wiggle and don't pull too hard when removing the handle or you'll actually bend the arm and it won't sit flush.
