Hi guys
I was just wondering if it is possible to retro-fit
heated seats to my gti
I've seen elements/pads for mk4 on e-bay which are gen vw parts
any help/suggestions?
Cheers

i asked this, i think the answer was the heater pads are built into the seat cover rather than a pad u can buy....also you need to make sure you have the loom installed.
-
+1 you'd be better off buying the entire seats but then you'd have to wire in the heater controls too.

I have bought the heat gti seats and the loom of kufatec. They are easy enough to do but I am unsure of a few wire locations and kufatec wont help so it doesn't work at the moment! :sad1:

Hi ollie i bought 2 tpms looms from kufatec and neither of them work with my car and to be honest kufatec were about as much help to me as they were to you
all they care about is getting your money,if there looms only work with certain controllers they should state that on the item info :fighting:
sorry for being off topic but i just hate being ripped off!!!

Hi Golfman, I know what you mean they are helpful when you express an interest in buying the products but as soon as I received it they have been no help. Interesting to know it is not only me how is experiencing a bad service! I am about to buy the xenon self levelers off them but I am thinking what if they do this again!
I noticed your thread on golfmk5 about wanting xenons. I have seen a few sets on ebay at minute dont know if you have seen them. Defiantly worth getting I am really pleased with mine!
Cheers
Ollie :happy2:
