Title: Swap CD changer for Iphone 5

Does anyone know if the CD changer in the arm rest can be swapped easily for an Iphone 5 cable/dock?
Also, will the Iphone charge and have good functionality with the RNS510?

Any help appreciated!

Yes, buy an MDI kit with Apple lightning lead. Charges & plays lovely

I've got MDI with the lightning cable in my Golf but haven't been amazed by it. The connection seems quite poor with both my iPhone 6 and friend's iPhone 5, just seems to disconnect itself frequently for no apparent reason. Otherwise works nicely charging the phone and giving you access to all your playlists and music via the RNS touchscreen.

sounds like you need to do a software update on the mdi. look on mygti
