Hi all,
This is less of a problem and more of a question. Just got back from giving my 06 DSG GTI a good back road thrashing, and upon parking up I got that oh so familiar whiff of burning clutch. Now as I know the DSG has a wet plate clutch, which smells different when it overheats from what I have heard. I've got no bad indications with the car, but I was just wondering if anybody else has had this happen?

You sure the smell wasn't emanating from your brakes?

Might have been. Didn't think I was hitting them that hard though, as it was quite greasy out.
