Title: VW Bluetooth 5n0 and Mobile Internet 3g/4g

Hi all

Ive just replaced my Fiscon Basic Plus with a 5n0 VW bluetooth kit, I can now make and receive calls from the Dials and RNS 510!  :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

However, when my phone connects, it disables my mobile internet and cannot receive emails/whatsapp messages.

Anything that I need to do on my phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy S4

I have the same bluetooth in mine and believe there is nothing you can do about it.
This is because the car takes full control of the phone (i think)

Does that one work with mfsw and rns?

yes it works with my MFSW and RCD510

thanks for the help guys, ive done a lot of googling on Rsap and yes @STV4R (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=9131) you are correct. when connected using RSAP the car takes over your phone hence no usability on my phone (3g/4g)

can someone recommend what unit to get? I have a 973 highline cluster and newer style MFSW but not too fussed if bluetooth shows in highline or not.

@DamoP (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2936)  I looked up for more info on the 1k0 bluetooth but theres not much info about it. Do your contacts show in the RNS 510?

i have an RCD bit yes. and work with the MFSW
