Title: rns/nsr 510 issues... please help only had the car three days

Hello everyone..

I am a new proud owner of a 07 gti and as expected from.buying privatley.. my first issue has arised on the second day.. yes what bad luck lol

So the annoying problem is with the nsr or rns 510 sat nav; as i drove back home 210 miles the hdd drive was performing super. Following morning i switch my car on and was greeted by the 'welcome to vw' screen. Soon after it dissapears and im presented with a black.screen for about 15seconds.and it repeats over and over for the duration the car is switched on.

Has anyone come accross this.issue.or know what the problem would be...
Also can anyone reccommend where i can go to get this resolved inc how.much.it would cost... Is this.a costly fix
