Title: urgent fuel flap help
Post by: matt46cars on January 11, 2015, 07:47:10 am: So fuel flap snapped off the mrs 5 door golf , I have been told the whole fuel flap assembly off a mk4 golf fits in fine? Anyone any input?

if you have a mk5 golf the mk4 is totally different and will not fit!

Thanks - would look good on our black car! :grin: :grin:

Wondering if some superglue would sort it (it looks like it was just held together by glue previously, with the splodges (technical term) around where it has fell off...)

As a short term fix, it's better than leaving no cover on at all! But I appricate the annoyance not being able to get a colour coded one is.

To that end, contact a breakers yard, I've used these guys before and they're alright;

And seen a black one on ebay as well - stupid as it sounds though, there is more than 1 black, so don't know which one this is:
