Great numbers... :happy2:

why is AMD find it hard to add in the correct data though. its defiantely not 0 degrees today im just down the road. %th gear runs as well.
they have done this to me on 2 occasions now. Not to sure how it skews results. But when i last did mine at AMD about two months ago they set mine @0degrees when it was about +17 degrees and i made about 8bhp more than what is widely regarded as the maximum achievable from a K03. that also considering i didnt have a full TBE, was on the standard intercooler , standard discharge and charge pipe and had no adaption time. etc.
Good figures there though. even if they were plus or minus 15bhp you still have a mighty poweful car there. More than a stage 2+ K03 can muster :sad1:
-
Why did they only run the car up to 5500rpm? I thought power peaked above 6krpm on a remapped ko4? A good result non the less :happy2:
What settings was Revo set at?
-
Its a DSG car...so i guess it auto shifted from 5th to 6th at 5500 rpm or there abouts hence the sudden drop in the power line.
should be more power if it was allowed to rev upto and over 6k rpm.
-
Normally DSG cars auto-shift at 6200rpm.
I would take your figures with a pinch of salt.

Normally they should RR the car in manual mode and the forced up shift usually doesn't take place till around 6700 rpm.

Ahhh that explains it then..... Not having DSG myself that never crossed my mind

what type of roller is at AMD.
I dont rate it to be truthfully honest. the only thing drawing me back there is that ive used it before so i have comparison with mods before.
however the entered the ambient temps are not correct, so very likely the correction factor will be out and thus the figures are probably right oiut.
to put it into comparison
my car @stage 2+ made 286bhp 305IBft on AMDs rollers. yet my car could just hold its own with my friends revo stage 2 vRS which was 258bhp, 300Ibft. also It was remarkably slower than the stage 2 vRS owned by the guy who did my new remap. That was 260bhp 296Ibft.
doent really add up, and comparing the graphs mine was putting out more power along the entire rev range.. Doesnt add up to me. my new remapfeels much mpore powerful(maybe its just the delivery??)
But if that last map was truly making 286bhp then i reckon now with my new map, cat back exhaust, and an intercooler i reckon on AMDs rollers i could suprpass the 300bhp mark. Great for pub talk but IMO opinion its over reading by a fair whack.
Not disputing anyones results though just my own.

AmD use a Dimtek RR, like Jabbasports!
-
Who cares what the figures are!
I doubt he cares when it goes as well as it does!
Nice one mate, unleashed the beast as it were :signLOL:
-
What matters are the gains from standard to remapped and they plain to see. Glad you are pleased mate :happy2:
-
I bet it goes like hell. i consider my car to be quick, would love to be making that power. Really want to try one of these @stage 2+. tried tfsi-mikes when he had his wound down to stage 2, and it pulled nicely. It wasnt shy of a bit of wheel spin though lol
-
There's no way a DSG car should be changing at 5500rpm, unless the operator changes gear himself.
Mine shows it changing at just over 6000rpm on Awesomes rollers.

Thanks for the feedback guys.. do you think i have a problem then with the gear changes @ 5.5k?
-
Very much doubt it mate. More than likely be the graph that's out rather than your DSG box..
-
Thanks for that.. is there any way of checking.. I suppose flooring it past 5.5 is a way of telling?
-
Well there is that. But I would be amazed if it upshifted at 5500rpm on full beans. Was more like 6500-6700rpm according to the needle on mine.
