Started the modding of my 07 plate GTI. I picked the car up a few days back and my first mod is a MTM map at QST. I read a number of reviews on revo, r-tec but in the end I thought I would try something a bit different and went for MTM.
I've know Kim at qst for a number of years thought my ownership of Audi ur quattros, s2's, s3's, s4's and rs4's. I picked this car up with the intention of having it as a fun family car that the misses can use. First impressions I really like it. Very good through the twisties and was surprised at the pick up the engine have. I then took it to Kim who promptly mapped it with the MTM software and it's a different animal now. Very smooth progressive power from the off and instant pull at whatever rpm in any gear. What I like about it is how smooth the delivery is throughout the rev range.

Next will be brakes then look to get it on a track!!!
