Title: Hawk "no holes in bumper" parking sensors
Post by: andybon on January 18, 2015, 09:16:47 am
has anyone used/had any experience of them?

Thinking I'd fit a set to my car and was looking at the basic ones where you drill the holes but seen these which gives the look that nothing is there.

Here is a link to them

Iv had these type (not this brand though) of systems fitted to a good number of customers cars and in my experience they are a bit hit and miss. If they work they work well but if they don't they are rubbish. I don't sell these type of systems anymore as they turned out to be more trouble than they were worth. This is all in my experience of course and to be fair havnt come across hawk systems so may be worth a punt for £20.
I didn't want sensors drilled into my bumper as I prefer the clean look so I ended up with a reverse camera which kinda does the same thing

Looks good but I would be really unsure how it actually works

Ya think? Did the fact it says electromagnetic sensors in the title give it away?

Didn't even look at the title mate, just looked at the picture on the link. But thanks for the constructive comment - well done  :happy2:
