Hi all,
My car is running 273bhp on a 'stage 1' map. Now from what I've read this is bit of an odd number for an edition 30 stage 1? Apparently the DSG was holding it back but it sounds to me like whoever mapped it didn't really know what they were doing
My concern is;
On the polar Fis it shows that the car is boosting up to 2400mb, I presume this is millibar which is around 34psi. This sounds an awful lot to me or is this normal?
Any advice? The car hopefully will be going to R-tech in the summer but this isn't a deffinate.
Thanks
Sam

2400mb is absolute pressure, so take 1000mb off that to give you your gauge pressure, which is 1.4 bar.
DSG numbers are lower usually because it upshifts near the redline, unless it's had a DSG map as well.

Ahhh I see, that makes sense. Thank you :happy2:

Stage 1 should be about 1.3bar ish. At 1.4 you should be making more than 273bhp.

I have a Downpipe & sports cat which helps with the figures a bit, but I've got 1.25-1.3bar and 313bhp :happy2:
