Title: cambelt and waterpump

bought my 08 plat gti in july 2014, it has just done 58k when would people advise having the cambelt and water pump changed. thanks for your advise

60K miles or 5 years is the official schedule. I would stick to that really and get it booked into a local specialist (depending on your location) or main VW dealer to get done sooner rather than later. :happy2:

Mine only done 49k when the cambelt,water pump and aux belt changed for 2nd time (56reg though)..for peace of mind change them
