Title: HELP jetta tdi bkd.

Car keeps going into limp mode due to over boost. But only when I hit 100mph exactly. Or at 80mph up hills very annoying, I have heard about the Turbo getting clogged up because of the egr but at 60-70mph not 100. Any light on the situation would be appreciated.

Don't go over the 70mph speed limit, problem solved. :laugh: Only messing... Usual response: Any fault codes? (If you have the ability to get them read, of course!)

mine was the boost controller when mine was doing this

I knew the 70mph was coming. Haha

Code: p0234 engine overboost condition

Might change the boost controller on the weekend see if that does the trick, also was thinking of doing the Mr muscle oven cleaning trick but not ideal.

Mine did this when I hit 100mph on private roads   :signLOL: I used a fuel treatment like redex on a few full ups and now it doesn't do it.
