Nope. How is the adjuster attached at the top?
It wouldn't make any difference...so I guess it is just how they wanted to design it for installation if it is attached, but if they just placed the adjuster there and it is free to wander or drop...I wouldn't trust that personally.

in the video he told that it is easier to adjust it if they are on the top
-
Ive always seen them like that at the top...
-
I did on my Rocco. The adjuster wouldn't sit properly in the trailing arm so I had no choice
-
I'm sure I've read the description of a few kits on the web that say "using an upside down design" or something to that effect...
-
On mine the adjuster is at the top as that's the way they are designed
-
have are the KW V1 designed? up or down? :chicken:
-
my kw v1's are at the top :happy2:

My KW V1's are also at the top

are you then using the rubber that was on the oem springs at the top and now using them on the down side or not using them at all :O?
-
The adjust is always at the top....if you put it at the bottom how would you adjust it?
-
Every coilover kit on a Mk5 I can recall has always been adjusted from the top. My AP's adjusted from the top, as do my BC's
-
My Ksport is on adjusted on the bottom...
-
They are installed both ways....depending on the maker. The top adjuster type simply fit over the the bump at the spring's top mount and the bottom adjuster type are usually bolted through the lower swing arm.
-
FK's are either way up, but i put them at the bottom. yes it would be more difficult to adjust - but once your happy with your ride height how often are you going to really change it? Plus i found it easier to just drop the lower arm - adjust the height then bolt it back together!
-
The adjuster SHOULD be at the top.

My FK's are the same, I wasn't a fan of the adjuster at the top
Only takes me 5mins a side to adjust once the wheels off
-
My Apex RDX's are at the top!

will be installing my kw's next week or 2 weeks.
Installing the adjusters at the top i kinda new to me as i had a mk4 gti golf before this with AP coilovers, btw how are KW's compared to AP coilovera?
