Hi
i have a standard RCD-300 stereo in my car. I want to connect my phone to it to play music, is there any option (leads) i can get to plug in the back? If so, then what part?
Currently there is a ipod connection in the glove box which is no use to me
Thanks

That ebay link you sent me is for a RCD 510, mones a 300 so will it still work?
Also did you have to code it?
Thansk for getting back to me :happy2:

the connection is still the same, I think you may need to code it if its a 300.
Can someone confirm please?

i know its not OEM but i got the connects2 box, that tricks the 300 into thinking you have CD changer, granted it isnt OEM and costs £25 But doesnt need coding... works a treat, in fact i swapped it from my audi S3 to the RCD300 so its about 5 years old and still going strong!!

Connects2 works fine for me with my RCD300 :happy2:

I second that: the Connect 2 works well with RCD 300.
Lots of sellers on e-bay - worth looking for one that will throw in a long lead as that can be handy.
Good video on youtube showing how to remove the radio: You do need to take care as they show you, but you don't need to buy their plastic tool. I found that plastic cutlery worked fine! You don't need the power tool either - a short-handled driver to take the torx bit is fine
